Hello, everybody welcome to another article! I'm Hernan Vazquez and I wanted to share with you a useful information that will allow you to reach more Hispanic consumers.
Over the weekend I read from a website called PM three agency that Hispanic consumers are heavily mobile oriented.
This means basically, that consumers from all over the world, but specifically on Hispanic communities, are using their mobile phones to search for products and services.
They use their mobile phones to keep on researching about the different models, different ways or different types of what they want to get.
Possibly, they will use their mobile phones to increase their research. They are interested in seeing how a product compares to another while they're on your store.
Now imagine if your brand could target those potential consumers.
You can target them while they are either on your store or on your competitors’ store.
And, how can you do it?… with Spanish ads.
You’ll be translating your ads into Spanish. And you’ll not only merely translate them, but also your ads will make a lot of sense for Hispanic community.
Imagine the power that your brand could have if take this advantage and target those Hispanic communities with ads while they are in your store… or further in your competitor’s store.
Well, this is what in Marketing we called geo fencing. It's a technique and a strategy for advertising, that has been working amazingly for local clients and some agencies that I'm consulting with.
Since these communities are strongly mobile oriented, they're using their mobile phones to do everything.
One of the things that you must be aware of, is that whether you have a landing page or a website, and you're putting your content online or whether you have an e commerce store, your website has to offer a friendly mobile experience.
And this is this is critical.
So for instance, I've been working with Facebook ads for the past four years, and with this new technology, geo fencing, we realized that 99% of the traffic and clicks on our ads are mobile based.
Meaning that if you're advertising online, and you're sending people to a poor mobile experience, your transactions will suffer.
This applies not only to the Spanish communities, but also to general marketing.
Targeting any type of communities at the end of the day, but specifically, for Hispanics, is a huge opportunity for you to capture that traffic for your company.
You just need to place advertising in front of them at the right time, at the right moment, and to the right people.
So, take that into consideration, if you present them with ads that make sense to them, at the point where they are considering making a purchase. And also you offer them with a really good mobile experience, you will be ahead of your competitors.
Because you will be serving these communities which are hugely underserved, when they are searching for potential products and services.
If you want my team and myself develop a strategy for you so that we can help you get more customers in the Hispanic communities….
Until the next post!
Thanks for all the support you’re giving me and my articles.
See you in the next post!
