On the homepage of your website you have too many options for it to be an effective landing page.

In fact, a good landing page only has 2 options: to either take action or leave.

  • Every landing page is a web page but not every web page is a landing page.
  • If you're doing SEO, you should be ranking internal pages, relevant to your visitor's query.
  • If you're doing PPC, you need to send people to a targeted landing page (unless you want to create a brand exposure).
  • You need to split test every day to see what's going on and lower your Cost Per Lead.
