The reality is that most of the Hispanic communities in the US are severely underserved. While most companies focus solely on selling to English speaking customers, there's a lot of money, revenue and sales to be made without having to reinvent the wheel.

That means that you don't have to come up with new products or services. You can just tweak your current sales processes and start appealing to these big communities.

Two Tips To Reach More Hispanic Consumers…

Tip # 1

However, there are a couple of things to have in mind when targeting Hispanics in the US.

While they have the purchasing power of other American demographics, they behave a bit differently.

Mostly because they're really rooted in their traditions.

But also because there are little differences and nuances between the different countries. For instance, people coming from Colombia might speak differently than people coming from other countries.

I am originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. And there's a big cultural difference between people, for instance, from Santiago, Chile, and so on.

Those businesses that want to appeal to Hispanic and Latino communities within the US, need to have in mind these little nuances.

Tip # 2

When it comes to reaching those marketplaces to expanding into those Spanish communities, most companies think that if they translate their advertising, for instance, their Facebook ads or their YouTube into Spanish, then they instantly will be doubling the region.

And that's not necessarily the case.

That's why it's really important to work with people who understand language, understand the community and the culture.

With that said, you can actually be more effective with your marketing.

So, if you're just translating your marketing, for the most part, Stop doing it because it doesn't make sense.

But there is a lot of big opportunities if you know how to go ahead and leverage it.

An example to illustrate you more…

As you may know, I run a lot of Facebook advertising for companies. And there's something called CPM, which is a cost for you to show your ads to 1000 people on the internet, right?

So, every time your ads get printed or get shown to your potential customers 1000 times, that count towards your CPM or cost per mil Casper 1000 impressions.

This is something that applies to every type of advertising mostly online.

Therefore, when you're targeting the average American consumer, specifically Facebook, which is one of my expertise, you tend to see that the CPM goes higher and higher.

Which means that there's a lot of competition out there.

Because lots of advertisers are also trying to target the same people that you are targeting.

However, when you target a different demographic or a different language you might be still targeting people within the US, right?

When you switch to this method, you will see that your cost per thousand impressions, your CPM, tends to decrease dramatically.

That is to say, that there's further less competition in those marketplaces, consequently, your advertising will be cheaper, or it's more cost-effective.


There's a big opportunity for marketers and entrepreneurs all over the globe if they start reaching out to those communities.

And the way of start expanding their business is to have in mind the two tips mentioned before.

Number one, understand the little nuances from different countries

Number two, translating your content into Spanish, quote-unquote, doesn't necessarily mean that you will be hooking that community.

Move forward and take your business to the next level taking these two tips into account.
